KPHRA provides a variety of services for its membership, such as two conferences a year, newsletters with information pertaining to important human resources issues, a certification training program, the KPHRA website, and an annual Innovations Award Program. In addition to the above services, KPHRA is a valuable venue for improving your HR skills through networking with knowledgeable professionals from around the state.

Conferences provide a variety of opportunities for professional development:

Certification Program

The KPHRA Certification Program consists of formal classroom training specifically organized to meet the needs of KPHRA members. It is based on a point system which recognizes both education and experiential achievement. Training credit is provided at both conferences, while experiential credit may be earned for both full time and partial responsibility for human resources functions in one's professional position. The certification program is coordinated through the Institute of Government at Eastern Kentucky University.

HR Innovation Award

This new award is being introduced to recognize members, and their organizations, who make innovative accomplishments in their workplace practices or projects.
