Welcome to the homepage of the Kentucky Public Human Resources Association (KPHRA) formerly the Kentucky Intergovernmental Personnel Association. KPHRA is an independent association devoted to professionalism and technical advancement in the management of human resources in the public sector. Membership is open to anyone who shares these interests.
Administrative officials in KPHRA include not only those with exclusive responsibility for the personnel function, but many others who carry multiple responsibilities that include administrative or technical aspects of human resources management. Current members include administrative staff and division directors affiliated with municipal and county governments, independent boards and commissions, area development districts, and agencies of state government, as well as instructors and students in public administration and related fields.
KPHRA provides a variety of services for its membership. KPHRA is a valuable venue for improving your HR skills through networking with other HR professionals.
